FINAL YEAR

It is final year now! Everything seems to be different from the previous two years in my degree!
We are always been told: " You are matured student, you are in your final year, you know what you are supposed to do, you are responsible for yourself !!" Like for the coursework, we cannot answer those questions by directly getting points from lecturers' notes or textbooks. What we are required to do is to analyse those relevant and relative issues deeply from a widely view of additional reading either on journals or daily newspapers. It can be seen there has been a huge change or improvement of requirement for our final year study comparing with those previousely. In order to match those requirements and also to improve myself, I need to change the way of study a bit, besides, always tell myself: it is the real world! I am in final already!

Now I have three coursework due in next month! Less than one month to go and I feel massive amount of pressure on me... I need fresh air...hehe~ but anyway, life still goes on, and everything will be fine, I believe! god bless me!

I have to work on my assignment afterwards but feel sleepy...-_-//

Still Revising...

I extremly envy those who have already finished their exams so far and are preparing to back home now! I still have three modules to go, and they will not finished until 8th of June!! The only thing that excites me is that I have booked the flight on 5th of July to back. I know it is quite late normally, but booking a ticket is really such a disgusting and troublesome thing since I dont want to transfer but a direct flight, which would narrow the airline choices and the suitable time of departure and arrival. For me, I have to wait until I move all my stuff in the new room I have booked for this summer and also next year. As a consequence, I could only book that really late flight for home. I think I shall make a wonderful plan during that almost one month, probably travel around UK with my friends. Just cannot wait for that amazing journey!
Back to reality, still three to go...one is the most difficult for me--Financial Accounting! And this is the one in next month, anyway, I have to take really good preparation for the remaining to avoid any regrets after the exams!

Busy revising...

Deadly revision time going on now! I guess everyong is busy with their preparation for the final exams currently, me as well. There are only five days to go for the exam starts, and I am not confident with my current feeling of my revision, which is really puzzling. I have five exams in total, and they last for nearly one month...but things always have two sides, as I can have longer gap between exams which means I could do as much re-working or revision as possible if I have not well prepared for all of them before the first one starts.
I am preparing for the Public Policy and Public Management past exam paper questions now, and I feel a little bit hard since I am not quite familiar with the British government or even crucial policies processes, I cannot well coped with those questions that ask me write essay or explaination on them. On the other hand, I have been reading some materials provided by lecturer and searched by myself for better understanding of those policies or examples to help my revison. What's more, I am trying to plan and answer the questions on the past papers for last three years as I realized the format as well as the style of questions were quite similar to each other. I am worried about the questions this year and scared if I cannot answer them. What I can do is just revision and preparing for it as better as I can and hoping I can do well during the exams.
....it is lunch time now! Feel a little bit hungry...I want find sth to eat and then continue with the boring revising...wish me good luck!

GOOD LUCK FOR EVERYONE!

Last Lecture Done

Today is the last day of April! How time files~
I have already finished all my lectures by today and plan to start my revision these days...god bless me...
It is extremly exciting that I got my all coursework done by last night. One is the financial part of group report in Business Game module and another one belongs to this module as well, but that is individual essay, which requires us to talk about the experiences and feelings of Business Game. The individual essay makes a lot of my friends feel struggling and even mad, as the words target was set around 3500. Even we have been doing this module for nearly one year, we are supposed to gain and achieve lots of experience, some students are not good at writing a really long descriptive essay other than a report, which consists of a great deal of charts, numbers, graphs to illustrate. To be honest, I am good at writing this kind of essay, which requires me to describe something or share my experience and so on, therefore, I got it done by just a few days instead of spending lots of time on it with less progress like others . I think that is because I was good at telling stories when I was very a schoolgirl...haha

Now, it is the turnning point! Everything would be related to my exams next month! There are just 18 days to get my revision done, and some of them are double modules which means I have to revise the terms from last term...Anyway, revising, revising...

Easter

It is good friday today! What a happy ester holiday so far!
I have been to safari zoo, blackpool and scotland with my friends since easter holiday started! It was really on the top of my fantastic journey in my life!
Let me first talk about the blackpool fun fair. There were not as many guests as Alton Tower, so we didn't have to join in a really long queue and wait for a century, and this was the most satisfied thing. The most impressive thing was the widy weather along the beach!! I felt freezing for the whole day, and even got uesd to the cold weather already when we left there! Quite unbelievable!! In total, it was quite fun!
The safari zoo is a wild animal zoo. There are lots of different varieties of animals and a more likely fun fair area within it. The most different and interesting element of safari is that guests need to drive your own car into the animal habitats, and they may walk around your car by feeding some of them. It seems like that we were animals lying in cages and they were guests who were interested in us~~haha...Most of the animals were extremly lazy, and they even did not want to stand up and walk, instead, they just lied there and looked tired! I didn't know why it was like that, maybe due to the cold weather!
How about Scotland? .........next time! haha

Experience

Hi everyone! How is everything going? uni, placement and coursework...??
I have just finished the online test which is the part of my summer internship application process. The online test comprises of two parts, one is a compentences questionaire, for examining whether I am suitable for the applied position, and the other one is the numerial testing which is testing candidates' caculating ability. The numerial test compring with 21 questions, and there were 21 minutes counted once you start answering. It is obvious that the "count down" made me so stressful that I looked at the minutes again and again automatically. On the other hand, I have to concentrate on the questions at the same time which drove me mad...joking! haha~ The questions were about economy and finance which contained loads of numbers, such as inflation rate, tax rate and GDP...Comlicated calculations have to be done for finding out the real answer, otherwise, you feel nothing could help! There were normally many different but similar kind of description and numbers for confusing candidates. The real challenge was to choose the real answer within the limited time which was one minute for one question!! You cannot spend too much time considering one question, instead, the wise choice is to choose a most likely one and then go on to the next question! I don't think I am going to pass this test but I have gained the meaningful experience at least!
Everyone should be optimistic to everything happen in our life and life is about process!

Four Coursework TO GO!

It is gonna be March the day after tomorrow! Time flies!
I have got four coursework to do onwards! It sounds quite unbelievable, right?! But the best thing is one of them due on the end of March, and the rest of them are going to be handed in in April, which gives me time to prepare at least! Friends around me are trying to begin, having meetings with group mates as nearly all of these coursework were set to be group work. Now what I am thinking is to get the very first step next week when I finish my financial presentation next Tuesday and I hope everything goes well afterwards!
Busy time these days! Unis, working, applying for summer interns, searching accomodation for next year etc. etc. etc... Things always like this! We have to do lots of stuff at the same time instead of one by one, otherwise, opportunities will gone quickly even we have not noticed them yet! Therefore, we must seize the opportunity once we notice it instead of unnecessary waiting!
I have been rejected by one of the top bank for my application of their summer internship already, but I dont feel sad at all, on the contrary, I will insist on applying for other companies and then wait for their replies. Since you never try, you never know!
Wish myself goodluck!
